t-shirts and more.

So the crazy t-shirt girl has more t-shirts and has a friend who shares the obsession. I have 2 rubbermaid boxes full of goodies. Libby and I thought it would be a fun night to dress up in the clothes and model them for you in these pics.

This beautiful suede jacket has a furry lining. It also has very snug sleeves. (moving arms is not recommended in this particular design.)

Libby and Sarah are modeling full length sweaters. Libby has a faux fur collar and Sarah has an optional belt. mmmmm.. nice!

gasp...

do you ever have those days that you can't seem to catch your breath? well today was one of those days. i remember several years ago i would have just been getting out of school and checking out what other babysitters would be coming to the MAC with the children we were babysitting. Ah the good ole days! i think part of the problem with life is that we make it harder and more exhausting than it should be. like today i got so frustrated because every car who was on the road, the driver was either too old to be driving therefore carelessly endangering lives or playing, talking or textmailing on their cellular device. i mean really get the heck off the road. you are endangering others' lives and your own, you are also being rude- you are in my way, get it out!- so anyways i was overwhelmed today. the day ended fun. we had a going away shin dig for our friend natalie who is in our bible study group. she and her family are moving to a town outside knoxville, tn! go vols! below is the pic of all, well mostly all, of the girls bible study group!

others second, i'm in third

thinking of others before ourselves can be an easier task than actually doing for others before ourselves. you know sometimes it is so much easier to just look out for #1, but is life supposed to be a cake walk? i get frustrated at times trying to figure out why people don't want to do what i want them to do or when i want them to do it or how i want it to be done. in frustration i say things i don't mean or things that are hurtful. i am sure that God feels that way about us, but he doesn't say mean things to us or punish us. we don't always put him first, others second and me third. i know that not every time i speak or make a decision i put him and his words before me and my selfishness. then there are times that i think i am trying to do as Jesus would do, but still people are unhappy with the result. in these instances i am just unsure as to what to do. my defensive guard pops up and it is over-- mean girl is set loose! that is terrible! i need to learn to keep my jets cooled and keep striving for putting myself in 3rd. so at the end of each decision, i can say i put you before myself.
i am in 3rd.

oh i am a weird one...

In the process of choosing to blog every day to better my creativity and writing, I was looking at my pictures and my gracious do I have some odd ones! On another note, my co-worker, Melanie, informed me today that this week is "bike to work week". I think it would be cool to be able to live in a place where walking or biking to work was safe and ok to do. I'll have to move. I tried to go on a walk last week in the neighborhood near my apartment. It was a disaster! I spent the entire walk dodging cars trying to make it home in one piece. Next week, bunco is at my house, or stinky apartment. This will be an interesting experience. My apartment is tiny and with 7 extra people and an extra table, it is going to be close quarters! I have to figure out what to cook. Any suggestions?
I am providing more ammo for you... Enjoy!

This is my sis and bro-in-law gettin their hair did... I hope...

Yaris Field Trip! Andrew at work bought a Yaris, one of those little bubble looking cars. Surprisingly it is roomy...

I am just not sure what Emma is doing here.

This is Ana being herself...

have you ever had a double doozie? well i used to love them. There was an encounter with a counter lady there. Telling a paying customer no she can't have more icing is the wrong thing. Don't go there! The local bakeries have double doozies!

This is George in his armor. He is one of the absolute best story tellers and fascinating people on this planet!

Grandma Rose beat all of us really badly bowling on the wii!!!

John, the Dog Whisperer

Work field trip again... This time to the Halloween Store. Who would've thought this much fun could be had at 2pm on a Wednesday?

This is Randy, the Pastor of The Portico Church. He is modeling some of his grandfather gifts.

The hat section is always a fun one at Target or anywhere. Libby and I are modeling some of Target's fashionable fall hats.

oh the random-ness

As I was looking through things, trying to figure out what to post, I found a ton of RANDOM pictures that were taken with my iPhone. i thought i would give you a few examples to help you understand. Yes, I do understand i am giving you more ammunition to make fun of me, but you don't need that... You do that enough already! Disclaimer: I am not going to stop taking random pictures. If I see something that is worth a random photo, I will take a picture and share.

These fabulous earrings i wore circa 1994 and found just before Emma's wedding festivities on the 4th of July weekend. Perfect!

This dolphin was coming over to get a little floppy dead fish that we were feeding him at Sea World in San Antonio. He was cute but he had fish breath!

This is my Holly. What is she doing? Well Holly is protecting her new friend, Turtle. Turtle appeared in the yard for a brief time and caused a freak- out, me to wake the neighbor and a new location. Turtle now resides in the swampy pond with Alli-Gator. Holly is left with only Merry and Minnie as friends and no turtle germs...

In the infamous words of Rachel Ray, "Yum-O!"

This poor boy, bless his heart, won this very SNUGGIE with bonus extremely bright book light at our Tacky Christmas Sweater Party. Wearing a woman's turtleneck and a festive sweater vest gets you the prize!

Run, Run as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I am the GingerBread Man! Poor little guy got an ugly polka-dot outfit and then got eaten in approximately 2.5 bites. He was goooood!

This is me in the Human Pin Cushion at the Children's Museum in Monroe. Can you tell it is me? Do you see my smile?

Oh the memories... Growing up, all children must have a sleeping bag for sleep overs. Emma and I had the coolest sleeping bags ever! They were Popples sleeping bags. The Popples' head was your pillow and when you rolled him up, instant Popples!

Who is this???????

Love!
